Hi I'm Using the below code to create an Instance in Doors from my c# code
doorsStatus = Activator.CreateInstance(typeof(DOORSClass)) as IDoorsStatus; // This line worked as expected for such long time
but now I'm getting an error like this : Unable to cast COM object of type 'DOORSCOMLib.DOORSClass' to interface type 'DOORSCOMLib.IDoorsStatus'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{9BDD61A5-4E39-480B-950B-73B6CFD7DC58}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE))
What am i missing here
Thanks in advance Nabil Saleem maknabil - Tue Dec 15 04:35:03 EST 2015 |

Costas Costas, Thanks for your reply. I'm using Doors v9.6. not updated it.
It was working perfectly in my development machine. Then I made an installer out of it and ran it on the same (Development) machine it also ran successfully. After I uninstall the setup. I got this casting error.
If I ran the code with installer installed things are working perfectly. Uninstallation of installer, deletes some file from the registry causes this casting error.
Do someone has experienced similar issue? I have no clue which file got corrupted.
Do I need to register DoorsLibCom somewhere to make this happen?
Thanks in advance
Best Regards, Nabil Saleem.
